Will he get a game before the end of the season?

Kinnear is out this week and with Clement injured Richo might be a suitable tall replacement. Personally I think Scotland will be selected but it would be nice to see our favorite warhorse out for a few more games before he retires.

There really is no room for sentimentality in AFL football.

If there's a spot up for grabs, Mick will promote a young tall. Simple as that.

Richo has form in the VFL. If injury striuck he might be required in finals. Name another tall for Willy who could step up - McKee is the only other who I could name on form at present. (hardly a CHF/HFF type)

Walker was ok-ish on the weekend, there's a tall I'd rather have played before Richo.

Scotland was fantabulous. And what about Shaw's hammy ... if it's right, he should come in.

Shaw should be rested until he's 100%. If he's picked, Swan would make way.

Looks like Richo has got a game as injuries mount up in our backline.

Good luck Richo!!

Richo is better than Walker.

Maybe, but he's 10 years older. Gotta go with the youth, Carlton refused to invest in young players and look where they are now.

Walker has had invaluable training in his senior games this year. We have had the luxury of playing him against the weaker sides, but now the serious stuff has commenced its time for him to return to Willy and let Clemo and Cloke take over again.

I reckon he'll be an ok player though, in time.

Walker had his moments last night, good and bad, but I have to admit to breathing a little easier when the ball was in his hands instead of Wakelin's.

Mr.ihavntfoundmyposition(havn't found my position),
i am a big wrap for Walker though he is not a defender. He gets beaten by all of his opponents, even poor one's like Mcarthy. He has talent but i just dont know on which part of the ground he will be best for the pies.

I'm all for developing youth. We have plenyy being developed. Walker isn't close to an AFL footballer right now. He has a lot of development left at VFL level. He shouldn't play again this year.

Agreed. It was about this time last year we said the same about Richie Cole.

Agreed Mark. I think Walker is a genuine 'project player' but needs another year (or two) at Willi
