I have thought Ricky Dyson has been stiff too not be getting a game and was wrapped when i heard he was a late inclusion today..........
I feel he had a solid game with 3 direct goal assists in the first quater.....
Seems to spend way too much time on the bench for my likeing.........

Its only a pecking order thing. We have a plethora of players for that same position and throw Hirdy in there...he may have to wait another season longer. He'll be back in the mix in 08.

Yeah but if he doesnt start to step up he might not even be on the list in 2008...

i think ricky dyson has the ability to kepp up with the game where at times, and i stress the "at times", guys like Pev and Watson just seem to move to slow when we need to move the footy quickly

He was in the midfield rotations today so yes he was on the bench but so where Watson,Winderlich and Hird.

I thought what hurt him was his lack of desperation when on the ground, particulary in the last. There was one moment in the middle in the last where he was 2 out with an opponent and he sat back and watched pev fight his heart for the ball, only to loose it.

Sitting back for cheap kicks is not ideal to hold a spot in the side let alone the club. He really needs to pull his finger out or he maybe trade bait at years end.

Maybe I'm being harsh singling him out but I am bloody well filthy to loose to the scum in the way we did.

Something needs to be done about Watson and his dreadful kicking...he's got his body right, no problems with his football brain. If he's going to take the next step...he needs to add a decent kick to his arsenal or his development will plateau.

This is my main critism of him. yes he is a great outside finisher but he can get in and get his own ball. He showed he could do it early on and he has to show he can do it at times now rather than sheepdogging it all the time.
He wasnt too bad today but he has to start stamping himself on games like Winders has.

Until today...he was exposed in every facet imaginable. His application to the football was his only saving grace today.

Laycock wasnt that bad even so hes a ruckmen, Pevs a midfielder. MJ was poor today but he'll bounce back. Peveril will never improve his foot skills, which is why he needs to be dropped. Watson hasnt got the best foot skills but at least he doesnt continually lob it ub so the opposition can spoil.

He can jump, decent tap, but a very lazy kick and only plays cameos.....which barely last a minute at a time.
