I think Collingwood should pick up a couple of ruckman as back up I think that Ricky mott would be a steal.

That is not really the case, fair enough he did stuff up at Sydney but he has no doubt learn't from that and his season at SF this year was fairly solid without being outstanding.
He has shown that he can play at AFL level and from a Collingwood perspective I would be happy to back him against McKee anytime. I made the comment on the Freo site that I feel he must have had some indication from another Club for him to knock back a contract with the Dockers.
One of your assistant coaches knows him well and knows what he is capable of and therefore he could be a possibility for the Pies.

I think it is time that the pies employed a no crap ruckman rule.
This would ensure that we get no more Steve Mc'Kee type ruckman, and no one like Mott.

Mott can play, saw most of his games and as a big, bang and crash ruck he goes OK. He will never be an around the ground ruck but in tandem with a more athletic guy he might be OK if he wanted to.

The fact he was not interested, unfit etc makes him more attractive if someone can get his head screwed on properly. With our 'good' bloke policy he is no chance.

I would be willing to give Mott shot in exchange for Kinnear's place on the list in a heartbeat. For some reason only understood by Steven Hawking and Mick Malthouse Kinnear will remain for 2 years before being delisted aftr playing another half a dozen games.

I would definately consider taking Mott and delisting McKee. McKee we know is not good enough to ruck in senior AFL footy. Mott may be if he is mentally there.

Mott has issues no doubt about it he was lazy and smoked while at sydney not a great combination.

Having said that I hope you snare him, maybe give up Fraser for him?
