IMO Riewoldt has been in absolutely brilliant form over the last six weeks.

Apart from the Collingwood game he has been in our top five each match, and has pulled out a couple of sensational performances.

In the last 6 weeks, he is averaging:

20 disposals
11 marks
2.6 goals

And has kicked 16 goals @ 70% accuracy.

He would have 7 Brownlow votes over the past six matches.

His game against Adelaide was absolutely dominant, and he was as good against the Bulldogs.

I feel he has become a truly elite player now ... he is mentally stronger, a true leader, and he performs when the pressure is on.

An absolute star and will be a legend of our club by the time he retires.

Rooey, you champion.

I think the real demonstration of how good he is was that last shot on goal. It happened near me, and the sheer desperation that was evident from Riewoldt as he dashed to mark the ball on the full was inspiring. Then after that flat-out running to nearly kick the distance from 50m in the last minute of a game when he isn't as long with his kicking as Rocca or Fevola was great. It was a perfect kick - he was just too far out.

If Riewoldt were to win the B&F this year, it would be his fourth, equalling the club record held by Bill Cubbins and Robert Harvey.

Riewoldt has been great all year, not just in the last 6 weeks. If he were to have a game or two off (as Frase seems to do every 2nd week!) we would be in a lot worse position. Every attacking move seems to go through him.
He is a monty for the b&f this year.

Personally, I reckon that performance against Adelaide was one of the best individual performances of a CHF since the days of Carey. It was just something else!

His form over the last 6 weeks or so surely have him knocking down the door for All-Australian selection. Although he does have some stiff competition.

You are a champion Rooey!!

history would suggest not.. but you never know!

You wait till next year. An un injured Rooey will be in hot contention. His work rate suggests he could play the way he has played the last six weeks for a whole season.

man he isn't even good he cried when he couldn't play who does that i wouldn't even expect him to go in and get the ball he is a pussy

Am I correct in thinking YOU, an ESSENDON supporter, are telling US about having sooky-loydy-la-la forwards?

... throw a few blades of grass in the air on your own page...

Too true. No person can rip into Rooey. It is like ripping into Judd, B Johnson, G Ablett, J Brown or Cox. Just can't do it.

So obviously a troll but what the hell... that happened in 2005 and you still harp on about it - must be that old green eyed monster.... since when we say essendon are scum that means we're jealous of you! Don't look at me, that's your philosophy!
