RIP Mark Naley

Very sad news - RIP Mark Naley, loved watching him play when I was a young bloke.

After the grand final loss to Hawthorn in '86 our then President exclaimed "next year we are getting Naley." And we did.

I dont know if im being too critical of the AFL, but not one mention that i can see on the AFL app or page.

Other ex AFL players with less of a name that have passed get stories/tributes but for some reason nothing about Mr Naley.

Sad to read. Have good memories of battles with Carlton during the later half of the 80s and associate his name with those times.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Mark Naley. He was a fabulous player. Great speed and skill and one of the most dangerous players of the wonderful Carlton side of the late eighties.
