Lead vocalist/bass guitarist for Type O Negative, Brooklyn based 'gothadelic', 'junk metal' band, died of apparent heart failure at age 48, on April 14.
It is actually true this time, the goth fabio is dead. His death was faked in 2005 on the bands' website, but this time it's unfortunately true.
Always appreciated the bands' music and in particular Pete's dry wit. Never forget the years listening to October Rust/Bloody Kisses as a teenager. Then discovering the early stuff through the 'fake' live album 'Origin Of the Feces', where the band invited a fake audience to yell 'you suck!' while Pete taunted them back, an example of his sense of humour.
He could be very pessemistic, but equally hilarious. I'll choose to remember the hilarious Peter.
