Reg Presley has passed away at the age of 71.

Lead singer of The Troggs.

Great singer from a great band. The Troggs tapes are brilliant but the language is very, very strong

Reg Presley, lead singer of the Troggs has died at the age of 71. One of my favourite bands of the 60s who helped lay the groundwork for punk rock and heavy metal. Perhaps the owner of the funniest name in rock n roll.

They were also a major influence on Spinal Tap - this is a recording of the Troggs trying to record a song, ironically called, Tranquility. One of the funniest things I've ever heard. Warning - there is a very strong language warning on this one
