Another football commentator bites the dust

Well known WA football comentator Trevor Sprigg passed away from a heart attack today

That's awful. I almost didn't believe it at first, so I had to look it up:

WEST Australian Liberal MP and former footballer Trevor Sprigg has died in a Perth hospital following a heart attack.
The 62-year-old father of five died in Fremantle Hospital about 12.30pm (WDT) today, hospital spokeswoman Joanne Hill said.
"We can confirm he has passed away," Ms Hill said.
It is understood Mr Sprigg may have suffered a heart attack after flying back overnight from holiday in Queensland to attend a Liberal leadership spill in Perth today.
The Opposition spokesman for sport and recreation was a well known figure in WA sporting circles after playing cricket and football including 152 games for the East Fremantle Football club and six games for WA.
Mr Sprigg also played 92 games for Glenorchy Football club in Tasmania and 10 games for that state.
He is survived by his wife Lyn and five children.

I seem to remember many years ago 3AW would use the 6PR feed for WA games, as I remember a few Hawthorn v West Coast/Fremantle games with Ken Judge, Trevor Sprigg and George Grljusich.
