Not too many that's for sure but if there is a first game that deserves one Razzel Dazzel's did! Really didnt put a foot wrong, had to check his age and he scrapes in by three months.

Players really shouldn't get it for one game.Dalziell mightn't get a kick for 6 weeks, and then how stupid do you look?

I thought they were hanging out to give a nom to Riewoldt last week. He'd been dropped, and pretty ordinary most weeks, but one good game and he gets it.

Lonergan and Jetta will hopefully get a nom in the next 6 weeks.

They'll have to squeeze Urquhart in too. He's been good for weeks.

When he wasn't named in the side for Round 1, I was confused to why...

Kyle has that X-Factor about him...we so much lack in the middle. Him and Lonergan have been finds of the season. Feel sorry for Houli, hope the OP doesn't affect him for next season.

Kyle Reimers is the Round 16 NAB AFL Rising Star Nominee.

Kyle played a key role in the Bombers’ resurgence in the second half last Saturday against Richmond at the MCG.

He kicked a goal in the third quarter and finished the match with 18 possessions.

It has been a good month for the 19-year-old midfielder. He kicked two goals in Essendon’s win over Carlton and he gathered 21 possessions against West Coast.

Kyle debuted last year and while he finished the season with just three AFL matches, he was making an impact for the Bendigo Bombers.

In 2008 he has become an Essendon regular playing 13 games.

Drafted from Bunbury and Peel Thunder, Kyle represented Western Australia in 2006 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships and was Essendon’s sixth selection (47th overall) in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft.

Essendon team manager, David Calthorpe, said Kyle’s strong performances in recent weeks have helped lift the side.

"Kyle has really improved this year and he has become an important player in our young, developing side. He is one of a number of young Essendon players who have worked hard to be able to play well at this level," Calthorpe said.

"For a young player, Kyle is very confident in his ability and continues to take the game on no what the circumstances.

"He is still learning, and needs to develop other aspects, but we are confident he will develop into a good player and that his best years are ahead of him."

Kyle is Essendon’s second nomination this season following Bachar Houli in Round One.
