Rita suspended from SEN!!!!!

Anybody know why Rita was suspended from Mark Doran's show on SEN yesterday? I think it had something to do with Collingwood.

Rita is very entertaining and not scared to say what she thinks. That's opposite to Doran who is scared stiff to offend anybody.

I think last week she laughed at Collingwood's big sendoff for Buckley and incurred the wrath of King Eddie. He wields alot of power in the media.

She wasn't really suspended she was given the week off because her 2 hours was going to be taken up with the last 2 hours of trade week.

Remember Bux works at SEN also so it would have been pretty embarrassing for the station management. Fact is she showed no respect when she should have. Buckley hardly had a big send of like some other retirees this year.

Surely they couldve done better than use the Channel 10 voice over bloke (who does all the openers to their AFL coverage) as the narrator of lines such as "kick it to Bucks...kick it to Bucks" and "i was there....i saw that"

It was pathetic, if your going to tribute one of your clubs legends surely you do a heck of a lot better than that.

Yes they were so embarrassed by what she said, they

1) had Eddie on last Saturday
2) had Rita reply on Tuesday on Dorans show
3) Replayed the whole thing again yesterday on Dorans show.

All she was bagging was that idiotic voice over guy who tries to give the ch10 broadcast some gravitas and sense of history with his Lord of the Rings voice.

She wasn't critisising Buckley. Didn't mention FIGJAM, or leaving Brisbane to play in premiership teams, or blood smearing, or one third of a Brownlow or anything else Buckley is renown amongst the filth hoards for

What the **** was childish about it? We didn't stop time and have a sendoff parade for the last 15 games of the year, unlike James Hird (who is my favourite non-Pie player by the way). He didn't get a farewell match, he didn't get anything! So why the hell shouldn't he get a half decent press conference announcing his retirement. You wouldn't understand at Richmond, you've got nothing even close to a superstar, just a pack of duds who will win nothing for the next 10 years.
