I’m no Voss fan but I firmly believe Ron Barressi couldn’t get this bunch to play for the jump.

I don't think anyone not playing for the jumper would have lasted a season with Ron, let alone 4.

Barassi also probably changed the game (as in the whole sport, not 1 particular match) with a tactic change brought in over a half time break in the most important game of the year.

Voss hasn't been able to come up with a tactical change in 4 years.

Tonight is a complete Snapshot of McGovern's career.
Has all the skills in the world, but plays one good game, keeps his spot sewn up then turns in shit for weeks.
Very conditional, cannot be relied on, needs to be traded for whatever we can get.
I'm sure he'd suit a Collingwood where he'd only have to be icing on the cake, not relied upon.
