Maybe that's it..........and yes, there is still plenty of the young guys to follow.

Probably too much to ask for Williamson to have another terrific game, but would like to see CCurnow & SPS step it up another notch today.

Burnie boy (like me once upon a time) on target to be an absolute all time great before THAT incident. The young
'uns on here wouldn't have heard of him. 98 brilliant games before being almost killed by on ground thuggery,
two years to get back, and never the same. Struggled to get on park, and played a handful of games over 3
seasons on return.

Finished up playing a bit of VFL before returning to NW coast of Tassie for a couple of compromised seasons,
pretty sure as playing coach from my failing memory.

Not one for lauding Magpies, but played the game clean and fair, and was sublimely talented. Even our most
ardent Collingwood haters would have struggled to find a harsh word.

Interesting contest this one. We have them covered for talls and just about break even in the midfield.

We need to be red hot on limiting forward 50 entries to their smalls, where I'd expect an even spread of goalkickers, ala Richmond in round 1. If we can limit them to 3 goals a quarter we have a chance.

Bolton, and not for the first time, was asked about kicking a winning score. He giggled slightly embarrassed and then ummed and ahhed about leading patterns but with Jack out he'll need to conjure something.

Superstar no doubt would've won the Brownlow in 72' could play anywhere played ahead of he's time

With Collingwood 3 games in 12 days quite possibly. Speculation Collingwood might rest Wells due to injury history.

I would have preferred it wasn't Thomas and Kerridge coming in but that said they played well in the VFL. Not too bad an emergency trio we have with Cuningham, Macreadie and Jones (who has been top few in bests in VFL last couple of weeks).
