So remember when we were all wetting ourselves with excitement that our small forwards were functioning well against Norf and West Coast? I guess not having millions of metres of open space to work in is a bit of a handicap for them.

1. Missing the best of them - Williams -in terms of scoring, pressure, defensive running and disposals hurts.
2. The midfield getting crunched and the KPF unable to bring the ball to ground actively negates their role.
3. The coach swinging Lewis Young FORWARD in the final term - putting 3 talls ahead of the ball to get outmarked - and subbing Fogarty limits their ability to outnumber their opposition at the balldrop, which is crucial for modern small forward play.

Of all the things to fault today, that is not one of them.
