Cotts on the other flank working up the ground and working with Silvagni as our exit options out of defence.

Owies just makes the forward line function more efficiently - I think he has the nous, just not the ability of Motlop and Durdin - case of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.

Bont is a worry - can’t let him do as he pleases.

Given who played in the VFL today, sure. Not sure a slowish endurance athlete is the one you bring in to add burst and trouble tired legs. Would pay off if we got an injury in the midfield early I guess. Touch wood, that doesn't happen.
