Didn't suggest that, but given what is being asked of the kid 5 games into his 2nd season, I think deserves some praise rather than criticism because he isn't getting 10+ disposals 6+ marks & kicking 3+ goals a week as our number 1 key forward.

I'm not saying he was the reason for the goals, but if we had Lefau playing the role that Faull is being asked, I'm not sure he also ends up with 4 goals. That's what I mean when I talk about Faulls selfless efforts. He doesn't get the rewards himself, but he does help teammates to

With such a young team, we're seeing fits and spurts of our best. Lalor is tending to drop off in big patches, Grjl can barely run in the last qtr. This is completely to be expected at their age.

Ever the optimistic fan, I just enjoyed seeing Lefau and Fawcett get some goals and more games into our cubs

Only confidence in Horton. Showed enough last year.

I felt this before the game: what was the point of dropping McAuliffe after the Port game?
He was in our top half in that game, and offers a bit more - in terms of speed at least - than most of our current starting mids.
I’m fine with Hopper OR Prestia in the side but not both.
Surely there’s more point in McAuliffe then Prestia at this point?

Not sure what pissed you off, but he said that the first quarter was not good enough, the response to get ourselves back to around 20 points down when we could have easily saw the game be 15+ goals instead of the margin it ended at was good and that when you look at the numbers like 59 I50 for 20 scoring shots, won clearances despite being dominated in hitouts suggests that we're doing somethings right, but as he stated we need to get better overall.

Can understand the kid appearing to sook, he is getting scragged and rag dolled with little protection from teammates or the umpires and yet he keeps doing what is asked of him. Can understand the want for him to go back to the VFL, but I don't see that happening until we get a few back from injury.

Leak far too many easy goals that just ****s your momentum. Apart from Fawcett there are no forwards that lead to the right spot and can't stick a tackle. Hopper not chasing did it for me unacceptable. Fan base beginning to get restless. Problem is never had all the top draft picks available ready to go.
