First game ive been to in person in a while, due to a few reasons...

Yze is a terrible coach, its simple.

I know we are missing players, but we have zero structure or plan... and I mean zero. Every team outside of us has a distinct game plan (except essendon), being here in person made it so obvious.

He continues to go with Hopper, prestia and taranto in the midfield and we continue to get torched. Its infuriating to see the same 3 trot to the middle every ****ing time.

Yze is the one missing easy set shots, turning it over and awful decision making and a bunch of senior players who go missing

Jayden Short gets so much of the ball but if you actually look at how he uses it, he just bombs it 9 times out of 10 and it's just completely useless for us. His stat sheet looks great but he fails the eye test.
As does Hopper. I pray that Cumming dominates tomorrow and Hopper gets dropped for Gather Round. Yze needs to drop him and I'll keep parroting on about it until he does.

I can't wait for Hotton to come back, I'm desperate for this midfield mix to change. I don't know why we stick with Taranto, Hopper and Prestia. They have no issues winning the ball out of the middle but they all just butcher it.

Things need to change or no progress will be made.

Lack of leadership and experience in our f50 our forwards either get drawn too far up the ground or to close to goals, nor do they work as a unit to give each other space to lead into

Hard to see a win coming this year.
Positives - Grlj shows more will and intent than most the senior list
Lalor - seemed to have a hand in every goal we kicked
Pressure was good at times

Negatives - too many to list, picking Ryan after 2 quarters of vfl was beyond a joke fmd, senior players such as Hopper, Ross, Banks, Broad gave us absolutely jack shit today, to kick 6 goals on our home deck against port was horrific.

Forward line entries and leading patterns are bordering on non existent.

Really want the kids to get fit so there is something to enjoy, this team is close to the worst skilled squad I’ve ever seen

The thing that's seperates us in this area and good teams, is that good sides have there half back flanks stream through to recieve the handball to go inside 50...
Whereas we just throw it on the boot and blindly hope. Not sure if its our half backs that aren't working hard enoigh or mids not looking... probably both

I'll just say - apart from the Allir crap (of which something will be made this week, and whoever play Port next week will get 5 frees in their forward line) - I thought we got the rub of the umpiring.

But our setshot goalkicking is ridiculous. Until we fix that, I don't know how good we are. In both the 2nd and 3rd quarters we got some run on, and just butchered shots for goal. And so many players look ridiculous with their set-up and routine - I'm not sure what 'coaching' they are getting, but whatever it is has created this team-wide problem.

Scariest thing is that what if OHB is worse than Ryan? We'll almost certainly see next year. Hes old than Ryan, and yet wasn't selected last week despite us playing Gray first ruck.

It's a indictment on your list management on carrying one 31 year old capable ruck into the year.
