Really is struggling at WAFL level. Got 5 kicked on him this week and was badly beaten really.

Do you think he will ever return, or is it all but over. From what ive been told he looked very ginger slow and struggled to turn pretty much.

He looks a little proppy in his first few games back from a year off and you're suggesting it's all over. Nice attempt at a troll.

I dont think it was a troll at all and there is a certain amount of fact in what he is saying. I'm not suggesting that it's all over for Robbie but I'll be very surprised to see him back in a Freo jumper inside a month.

For sure. He has missed a year of footy , so to expect him to be back in top form is dreaming.

Four goals came in the first quarter and only one for the rest of the game so it seems that Sir Robert got better as the game went on.

He will be a couple of weeks away still at best.

Hadrill went on Dean Buzan after Buzan kicked 4 goals. So Hadrill only got one goal kicked on him :thumbsu:

Exactly. Those ready to write Sir Robert off need to get their facts straight. That said, he's gone down a fair way in the pecking order, and will need to earn his spot back - it's no fait accompli that he'll slot back in when fully fit.

Buzsan isn't exactly a hack at WAFL level anyway.

Hope Hadrill is back soon, could free up Schammer to move into the midfield.

Isn't it funny what someone with half-assed information can pass off as fact. As inferno said, Haddrill was moved to Buszan and quelled him for the rest of the game, only allowing one further goal. To me, that was a pretty damn fine performance, and I would say he is well on track for a recall. The only thing in his way is gonna be Grover and Parker who seem to be doing pretty well.

That my friend is my thinking as well.

imagine the double B's (brett and Byron) in the midfield. That may well satisfy our need for speed.

Hey right Hadrill will take the small mobile forward. Hadrill will be used depending on matchups if he is in form. if the opposition has a big, slower forward then he'll get the gig other wise its Perth.

Hayden will be in line if schammer moves forward before hadrill.

Nothing is ever as easy as a straight swap. If he returns and takes up position as our resident gorilla it frees up Johhno who could become more mobile. We still have Parker, Mundy and Grover, M. Carr. Byron could slip back for match ups if needed. But in case you havnt noticed Schammer is often manning up on guys bigger and stronger. OK you can argue that he is not broken so why fix him. But having him running the midfield and relieving Bell as our fall back in defence would give us some real spring.

As for Hayden I hope he comes back. But I thought this thread was about Hadrill.

Would look fantastic in blue and white stripes;)
How about a straight swap,Hadrill for Hay:p
Or maybe that Johnson kid,he seems to go alright

The Dockers have made some extremely dumb decisions over the years in relation to trading/swapping players but rejecting Has Been Hay was not one of them. The way he fronted up for an interview etc., when he came over he wouldn't have got a job with the Freo council cleaning dunnies!
Big big mistake Kanga's.
