I'm sorry but the kid is just not up to it, and needs to run around at Coburg and learn more. He's lost confidence, and doesn't attack the ball hard enough.
He is due to play 50 AFL games if he is picked this week, but he doesn't deserve to be in the best 22, even with the injuries we have.

for him to reach 50 games at the elite AFL level sums up how well our club has gone for the past few years.

some of us were calling him a dud way b4 this season started, he plays about 3 good games a year on average, he would have to be on the trading list if anyone is interested at seasons end.

Yep you're right, play him in the twos for a few weeks and get him a run in the middle. However, he's no lost cause. I'd still persist with him because he has some freakish ability. I'd like to see him get the same amount of assistance that Frawley has given to Krak-daddy.

why dont we just write the whole list off. they are all crap. they have won only a handfull of games the last 3 seasons so delist the lot of them and start again.
funny how the same people have thier favorites to bag, you guys must hate it when they actually play well - oh thats right it is denial as we saw in the ray hall thread, he will still suck if he wins a norm smith medal.
rodan needs 3-4 weeks in the 2s playing on the ball to get some confidence. he has spent a lot of time on the bench for his entire AFL career so give him a good run with full games. he has not been that bad and is still developing. he is worth persisting with, even if it is just to increase his value at the trade table.

I'm a Rodan fan but not a fan of they way he is being played. Drop him in a forward pocket for a few matches to scavenge off Richo's spilloffs. He would have the pace and elusiveness, ala Farmer and Milne, to cause opposition defenders some confusion, and would set up a few handy plays and goals. Think he would also show wome intensity to keep the ball in the forward line.

He has shown more than a few others on our list, and deserves to be given more of a go.
