This weekend when Gumbies come up against Roys in the match of the round, Rodney Dangerfield will run through the banner celebrating his 250th Sweet-FA game. Rodney has been a true journeyman throughout his career, playing for the Royals, Demons, Furies, and now for the Gumbies. He has always played an important role in every qooty team and has featured in a premiership side (S20), an All-SFA team (S30), as well as been the leading goalkicker for a team on two separate occasions in season 30 and 25. Congratulations Dangerfield on an illustrious career to date and we can't wait to see what you do next.

It's amazing to think Rodney Dangerfield is on the cusp of 100 games with the Gumbies. When haydo mentioned inviting him to join the Gumbies at the end of season 27 I didn't know too much about Rodders but he came across and has been a consistent contributor for the past five seasons. My personal Rodders highlights are his Spitcoal Medal thread and grand final reaction video.

My favourite memory was when I recruited you to the Royals and you hadn't gotten a single Mobbs vote up to that point, but somehow on your debut we kept the Bombers to just 16 points and you kicked as many goals as them by yourself en route to your first Mobbs votes.
