Good list, personally I feel the top few in each category are fairly settled now but there is potential for a bit of upside if you can pick the right few who will round out the top 6-8 in their categories.

For example in defence...

Laird - an absolute lock averaging almost 10ppg better than the next best defender.
Yeo - one stinker against Geelong but besides that has gone 90+ every game. Anyone calling him yo-yo is stuck in 2017.
---
Lloyd - after going at 86 for the first 4 rounds and looking a rung below the elite DEF, he has averaged 112 over the last 5.
Seedsman - almost the inverse of Lloyd. Started strong but averaging only 95 over the last 5 and 83 over the last 3 (once coaches started trading him in). Personally I am waiting a few more weeks before I'm convinced he is top 5 material. He has been consistent though.
Simpson - a guy in his 16th year of AFL is generally not who you want in your DT, but Simpson seems to be cut from the fantasy cloth of Boomer Harvey, Brad Johnson, and Robert Harvey. Still, his seasonal average is on the decline from 101 in 2016, 97.7 in 2017 and a tick under 95 so far this year. His inconsistency makes him a great upgrade target if you can pounce at the right time.

Blakely, Whitfield, Crisp, Hurley all average 91-92. Hurn the surprise packet averaging 95 so far but only 84 in the last 3 rounds which is more in keeping with his historical average. The trick is to pick the right ones who will go 95+ from here as opposed to 85. Whitfield most proven performer with potential to go 100+ from here if GWS get their act together as a team. He's the one I'm watching closest personally.

Remembering that if you are trading someone in, you don't care about their average prior to you getting them. All that counts for your team is their average after you get them. With that in mind guys like Angus Brayshaw, Howe, and Scharenberg might be worth a punt if you're a believer.

Solid as **** post

What a week! Taranto and Sicily drop out. In come Smith and Menegola (Robinson on the bench)

So many underpriced potential top 8 players! Brayshaw playing through the mids looks insane. Walters now averaging 100 without his injury affected 11.

Liking the look of Walters this week, 7 of his remaining 12 games are at home for the rest of the year. Away games against Pies @ MCG, Carlton @ Marvel Stadium, Dees @ TIO, Essendon @ Marvel and Geelong @ Skilled.

I would be interested in what you think now if you have a sec!

Byes are done now and time for a new rolling 22!

DEF: Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Simpson, Crisp, Brayshaw (Whitfield, Blakely)

MID: Mitchell, Kelly, Fyfe, Gibbs, Sidebottom, Curnow, Zorko, Conilgio (Phillips, Selwood, Beams, Gaff)

Any of these 4 could easily be interchangeable with Curnow/Zorko/Coniglio

RUC: Grundy, Gawn (Martin, Goldstein)

FWD: Smith, Westhoff, Heeney, McLean, Menegola, Sicily (Robinson, Franklin)

Many players have good cases, but if I had this team come end of year I would not be upset! Flick us your thoughts below!

Forward line is a place where there is a lot of depth, likes of De Goey and Walters could easily match a Menegola from here on in, and saves you about ~ 100k!

Fair squad mate!

News today is that Blakely is out for 6 weeks, TMac (I have him best 22) as his replacement?

What about Robbie Gray, can we trust Hinkley?

User name rings true - can we trust Hinkley - good one. Good team choice. Cant really knock anyone out. I am hoping some of the likes of Crouch, Beams, Zerrett come home strong and knock there way in. May be Rocky can do some damage fwd too.

Couple of changes in the mids with Fyfe going down and Curnow falling out of form.
