hi folks ! This new form of advertising on this forum is doing my head in ! As you look at a thread this add rolls down the page till you accidentally open it up , can this function be turned off ? It's driving me nuts

If you use the site regularly then spend the $20 a year or whatever it is and buy a membership. No more ads

Just make sure you don't run some kind of Platinum Membership - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades extension in your browser, it's totally not a great way to make sure you don't see ads again and it robs Chief of valuable beer money.

look I don't mind normal ads fully aware big footy needs income to keep the bills payed but this rolling version that jumps down the page is very annoying and is enough for me to spit it and give up on the site during some sessions. I am sure I am not alone , my ipad is lucky to not have gone thru the window !
