The end of an era? Thanks for the memorys North.

I tipped the Crows by 14 points tonight and although the Crows won by 10 goals it was the way they done it that impressed me.
:D
Norths seven goals straight had me worried for awhile until the real Roo stood up. Great steadying Crows!!

Jarmans hip and shoulder was a classic King Hit, that set the tone for the night.

If the top seven sides arent worried about the Crows late season surge well they should be!!!

Im not counting me chickenhawks just yet....but tonite Im SMILIN

Could the Crows meet Port in the finals (assuming they make it) ?

Go you goodthings;) ;) ;)

As I stated earlier , its all over now North.........

As for that King hip and shoulder, couldnt have happened to a nicer a$$hole :)

going along nicely...

Crow fans,

Just thought I would mention a couple of lads who have been doing their jobs well in the past couple of weeks.

1. Hewitt. His work in defence on Whitnall and McKernan the past two weeks has been pretty good. Took a great mark up forward in the second half too. I hope it continues.

2. Rob Shirley. Nothing seems to worry him, just goes about his business, tagging blokes and getting a few kicks himself. It's nice to see that we finally developed a couple fo taggers (Shirley, Stenglien) and are'nt using one of our best (Bickley - now there's another bloke who deserves a mention!) like we used to.

So...

How's Conan going as a coach these days?

He cops a fair bit of critisism Conan; particularly on his strategy surrounding the huddle.
But some of his belief in younsters like Stenglien,Shirley and Welsh of late must be a real fillup (for thier confidence;)

Where are all the media "has beens" laying money that he'd be first coach sacked after a loss to Sydney in Round One:eek: ?

While Im on the subject; It was pure joy listening to the ABC last night while watching 7s telecast.

Walls is a puppet, Breretons too busy lovin' imself in what ever camera will command his attention and Bruce:confused: ....well he must have sore nutz jumpin from one side of the fence to another

Im sure there will be plenty more bandwagon jumpers in the weeks to cum
:o

You would have noticed that he got straight back up and didn't have a sook like some. You would have noticed that he was scragged around the neck, didn't get afree kick, but did he have a thucken whinge.

No, tough as thucken nails and you know it.

King was tough, and indeed the umpiring was ... hard to follow, shall we say? That goal was touched, no doubt about it!

North were unlucky on the umpiring decisions, no question.

And it was a "canter" just as you predicted on the Kangaroos board.

Shame for your lot about who was doing the cantering, though.

I thought North have put up a reasonably credible showing in the latter part of the season, but it looks a bit shot now, doesn't it?

It is decidely shot. Looking back it was shot when Stevo did his knee at Subiaco abot 5 weeks ago.

I would only consider swapping one player for the King. McLeod absolute thucken superstar. Better than Hird. Better than Voss, Better than Buckley.

Finally you know you are in sh it creek when a hack such as Perrie starts kicking mongrel floaters from fifty. Who taught that pr ick to kick.

Did s..t all after it though didn't he? So how tough is he?

Tougher than Mooney who hits someone half his size thirty metres of the ball.

Considering King was playing with a broken hand, a strained knee and then was shirt fronted and then he played out the game without complaining what would you reckon.

He has never taken a backward step on the field so I would say he is tough enough dic khead.

Choppy,

Your intelligent posts are wasted on these insufferable boors.

LOCKYER

Should someone take Molloy aside and explain Lockyer is a TEAMMATE and that is is in the best interests of the TEAM, not to knock out a teammate:eek:

.

You forgot to mention he also had a punctured lung, missing kidney, had lost 3 fingers in the 2nd Qtr,broke his leg when running through the banner & slashed his throat at 3 Qtr time

I thought it was fantastic the way King took that bump and the subsequent tackle and came out alive. Top player - has been for years.

I think it is the end of an era for North. We had 10 glorious years in the Finals and North 8 (?) so it comes to all in time thanks to the salary cap and the draft. May I suggest Ken Judge as the coach to rebuild your club? He can start in 2 weeks.
