We are running with a player short on our senior list this year. Can we promote a rookie at any stage of the season even if there is no injury to senior listed player??????

I think we can but does anyone have a link or some sort of proof that would explain this.

No evidence Stiffy, but it was raised here in Melbourne the other day. I think the answer was because the team in question had submitted a list of 37, the rookie could only be elevated if one of the 37 listed players were to be placed on the longterm injury list.

I stand to be corrected though.

No idea Stiffy, but if I had to guess - and it would be a guess - I'd say no, because the promotion of a rookie is supposed to cover a long-term injured player.

I'd really like to know though.
