I'm probably not the only one in this spot, so thought it worth a discussion.

I have 4 premium mids, 2 playing rookies the bench. The rookies are Barlow, Martin, KT & Trengove. Barlow obviously starts and KT probably won't get a run this week. That leaves Martin & Trengove. When it comes to the 6th mid I usually pick the one that's playing the worse team. Seeing as it's Richmond Vs Melbourne, it's nigh on possible to pick the better/worse team.

Who gets a run???

Martin over Trengove I guess....

Martin is more consistent 70sss. Trengove is more rollercoaster...but I got a feeling Trengove can bring the high numbers soon as well as the low numbers... I prefer consistency with Martin...

I'm in a similar situation

I have gumbleton, podsiadilly, rockliff and dangerfield in the forward line and im not sure who to play.

Rockliff and gumbleton are highly likely to play, dangerfield and pods are maybes.

Also in the mid i have barlow, martin and banner who to play?

Hmm, getting interesting..

Martin over Trengrove CaptChards..

My issue is playing Bastinac over Masten and Hitchcock over Gumbleton or vice versa??

Leaning toward Martin. But you just know Trengove is gonna carve up those pussies this week....

barlow, martin, Banner in that order for the mids.....

dangerfield if he plays. Rockliff, Pods and Gumby in that order.

Tempted to go bastinac. Masten has been ordinary thus far. Unfortunately for me I also have Buddy and Danger. If both don't play, Hitchcock & Gumby both run on!

1. Rockcliff 2. Dangerfield 3. Podsiadilly (will he get a game) 4. Gumbleton
1. Barlow 2. Martin 3. Banner

Dangerfield is job security and a better player but after the incident and with Rockcliff being a ball magnet I'd go for him

Martin, Barlow, Bastinac, Shuey. 2 to play, 2 to bench.

With the Saints running into Freo this week, is it worth considering Bastinac over Barlow? Ling tagged Barlow last week, likely Jones will play that role on him this week? Or more likely to be on Haselby/Hill/other?

Good point. Jones would most likely play on Barlow and would probably shut him out. So I would say Bastinac as Sydney will not be tagging him

Michael Barlow is in doubt to play against the Saints. Would want to have an above average emergency for him. http://www.injuryupdate.com.au/afl.php

I'm in a similiar situation, with Barlow, Martin, Moles and Jetta.

I'll probably play Martin and Moles. Either Jones or Baker is going to Barlow, and i think he will be held.

This is my first year so not sure about the emergencies.

I have Dangerfield starting on the field and Gumbleton set as emergency. Does that mean if Dangerfield doesn't play this weekend Gumbleton will automatically play?

Might be an obviouse answer but i just want to confirm
