For all TIGER fans. What do you think of RORY HILTON. I remember watching the TIGERS play Brisbane last season and they only lost by 7 points. Rory Hilton nearly won the game for the tigers and showed plenty to my likings. He was draft pick number 3 back in 2001 and has enourmous potential. He is injury prone which is unforunent for any player. Should tigers keep him or get rid off him???? If they do get rid off him would he be worth a first or second round draft pick???

Personally I reckon he needs a fresh start and wouldn't mind seing him in the carlton colors

I reckon the bloke has plenty of potentiel and will become consistantly good at one stage!!!

Aslo were does he play mainly??

Is he versatile????

Can he play back/center/and forward???

in the dictionary, theres a pic of Hilts next to injury prone....poor bugger has bnever had any luck in that dept, as soon as he gets a run at it, bang serious injury occurs, no doubt has hampered his development mixed with poor coaching throughout the Frawley famine era and there you have it another hard luck story

Is he versatile ?..... where do i start , can play tall down back , dynamite in the middle when used in bursts , goes forward and can kick three in a quarter . Courageous , Leadership , lesson to all with his work ethic .

Tell Denis and sticks that Rory is a gun and has been shafted by the Richmond football club .

Reluctantly we will let him go despite the enourmous potential he shows for the future

I know this is giving him away for nothing but reluctantly we would take your second round pick for him

Tell them is too good a deal to let slip ;)

Too easy to let him off the hook. Many of his soft tissue injuries are as a result of never doing the fitness work. He was pick 3 in the draft, he is meant to be an elite Coughlan-style midfielder but has barely gotten fit enough to play 10 minutes a quarter in the role.

Blaming Frawley is lazy. Hilton's career is all down to Hilton. Could have been special if he had 1/10th the commitment of most other players in the league.

Rory's gawn Im afraid. Another injury. Last season.

C'mon iitb, stop steering our learned poster in the wrong direction. You know he's worth a first round draft pick.

That's the spirit. First and second round pick should swing the deal, we'd only be getting back what we paid for him after all. :D
You're getting carried away Weaver. We'd have to throw in Biddiscombe as well to sew up that deal. :D Can we trade past players.

Tell me about his soft tissue injuries due to "not doing the fitness work". The injuries that have hampered him haven't been soft tissue injuries.

Work with the facts, it's a much better way to build your argument.

His shoulder and knee injuries in the last 3 years are pretty well documented .... but tell me , have you got his medical history in front of you ?

If you did , you would be able to count up the amount of times he has torn or strained his hammies , and all the other assorted strains and tears in various parts of his body .

Give us your "facts" Dr. Larkins , and lets see your arguement .

You are a w@nker. He is not lazy at all, infact he has one of the best work ethics at the club. From memory he has only had two soft tissue injuries. A hammy at the start of this season (possibly a result of his knee reconstruction) and a quaddie strain a year or two ago.

He has never done the fitness work??? You are a ********er.
He was brilliant for RFC in 2000 and early 2001, suspension put a halt to his form in 2000 and he was on his wa to a B&F that year.

Frawley de-railed his career. Should have left him on a backflank as opposed to putting Chaffey on a flank. He is twice the player of Chaffey.

He is one of the unluckiest players to play the game. Before he was even drafted he almost had his career destroyed by an eye injury, @ the age of 16. The next season he did his knee and had only played about 15 games in two years and was still taken @ pick 3 by Bris. He then had a season off, played 9 games for Bris and was traded to Rich.

He was lazy in his first year (1999) @ the tigers and his run of injuries has continued since then. A serious shoulder put him out for the season, a serious knee injurie put him out for the season. He finally gets back in stuffed his finger.

He is still only 26 so id say he has a couple of good years left in him. Can be an extremelly damaging player once his confidence is up again.

Injuries or not or how personal you are with him. His time as a Football player at AFL level are gone. Even you should be able to see that.

 Nothing personal, just pointing out the facts because you have a tendency to leave them out of your posts.

Tip: Stop thinking up stories to add weight to your arguments. Im sure having to think is wasting far to much of your time, time which could be spent clipping the hairs off your missus back

When can you come pick him up?

I dont reckon you would have the support of Carlton members on that one.

The Scotlands,Harfords,Morrells are starting to get some members impatient.

Pagan will be limited in going for more.

Well said junkie, some absolute tip rats on this thread posting crap that they know nothing about. Glad to see someone has a grip on reality here...

Still looks very poor.

Does some good things but isn't good enough.

If he continues next year he is keeping a Meyer or Raines out of the team.

Well said Junkie, beat me to it. Some posters here dress up their perceptions with a dose of pomposity and try to pass them off as fact. Rory had never done a hammy until this year and the medical staff attributed it to his knee injury. He has probably worked harder this year than ever before. His injuries have been structural: eye, shoulder, knee. What absolute waffle and rubbish posted here about his so called soft tissue injuries and their cause.

Good to see some posters who rely on fact. Most on here just need to create cyber noise to massage their egos.

Cheers

PS Good luck Rory
