Completely unnecessary, and with the list manager change imminent it never should have happened.

at best Laird will turn into a depth 23rd man type player, at worst Nicks will keep selecting him. But it will be hypocritical for Laird to stay in the face of what Crouch went through.

I get people state Laird and ROB have to go, but we need depth. Removing them out of the squad all together is dumb list management. You need depth!
