What's ralphy the rumour monger say? Is this the big fish he was alluding to?
This is a worry.
The last player that had just a few details to tidy up was Jack Gunston.
Barricade Adelaide Airport and close the borders.
This excites me.
The SloaneDog is our 5th most important young player.
Danger, Walker, Tippett, Jacobs and then Sloane.
There fixed it for you. A few players in the side slip in there somewhere depending on point of view.
To be clear, I think Sloane is in our top players and integral to our future. I hope we get confimation of a signing soon.
My comments were with regards to the list, without the likes of Johncock in our defence and Thompson in the mids the side would be a lot more fragile and we can't write off the importance of veterans just because of age. Maturity and experience is often more important than youth and enthusiasm.
I don't actually care what order they are put in, and I agree about the future part. But to have a successful future we can't be to rash and give older players a whack after a game or two where there are solid, but not outstanding. They will contribute and scaffold the younger players.
Some of the players that stagnated under the last couple of years of Craig's administration surely deserve this year to prove themselves. Heading into Round 6 I would expect scruitiny on some of the experienced fringe players by the coaching staff.
I wish they would put attractive numbers infront of Sloane and Dangers asap.
I think you've missed my point.
If Thompson, Sloane, Walker, Danger, Jacobs and Tippett play well and dominate the game, we win. If not, we don't. You cannot say the same if Doughty, Johncock or Reilly dominate the game. They are good player and good for the team environment and experience but they don't influence winning or losing.
Really? Can you point me in the direction of your post(s) prior to the news that he might head home breaking?I lost all faith in human nature when Fiscal Phil disappeared. (I always expected Gunston to go at the earliest opportunity)
I reckon you're underrating Stiffy there Alex
Provides ample drive off of the HBF and can defend like a real defender. 2 in 1
And he has a pretty good "aging leg"![]()
Maybe but I don't believe half backs/back pocket or half forward/forward pocket influence games. They are simply icing on the cake.
