C: Simpson Scotland Walker
CHF: Fisher Waite O'Halphin
F: Betts Fevola Houlihan
Foll: French, Stevens, Bentick

Defence still looks very shaky but I would say that would be the best side we could fit.

If Livingston doesn't start to perform I really hope Lucy can quickly develop and take his spot.

Gee What The Hell Are You On Houlihan In The Starting Line Up & Kouta On The Bench.

Kouta ain't getting any younger and cannot play a full 120 minutes. He can play a similar role to Harvey playing by coming off the bench and playing around 60-80 minutes a game, fresh for the last quarter when he can be used on the ball rather than just letting him waste in teh forward line where he is simply not as good as he once was.

As for Houlihan, I'm a believer in him and I reckon that if Pagan let him play in the forward pocket where he had some great seasons earlier on he could flourish and prove to be a real suprise packet. He is suited to the forwardline and not drifting off the half back line.

Thank you for very constructive criticism

Now please post up your team so I too can make pointless and meaningless comments as well.

IMO- i can't see whitnall spending a lot of time in the backline, unless we are struggling

we have saddington who with thornton and livo will be the 3 talls
teague will be the back pocket
mcgrath the mid size tagger/stopper type player
and the other will be an attacking HBF eg/ houlihan/lappin

i think there may be a bit more rotation through the HBF - onball - HFF

Are people pushing for Hurn at 4 rather than Kennedy? Hopefully one of those two is available at pick 4 for us. Th upside of those two players along with Murphy is that they are ready to play round 1. Swallow is another midfielder who could play straight away, very good all round midfielder. Cheers.

The whole concept is pointless & meaningless as we haven't actually drafted anyone, yet you've got Murphy, Hurn & Lucy in your squad..........great in theory, but lets wait until we actually know who we've drafted.

No way Koutourfides starts on the bench. Sure I agree he needs to be rested more during games, but no way our Captain starts on the bench.

B. Teague Thornton Carrazzo
HB.Saddington Hartlett Lappin
C. Walker Koutoufides Simpson
HF. Waite Whitnall Fisher
F.McLaren Fevola Betts

EMERG. Russell Livingston Houlihan
ND: 1.Murphy 4. Kennedy 20. ? 36 ?
PSD: 1. McLaren
Elevated: O'hAilpin
Le to see Hartlett given first crack. I know he probably isn't quite ready but you never know once they make that step up! Can't be any worse than Livingston & if we can somehow land Kennedy that would be a bonus!

I am going for Hurn because from what I've heard that he is a true in and under player which seems to be something that we lack and also I might just be a tad scared in going for another KPP at 4 after what happened in 2000.

In reality I agree with you that it is pointless but at the end of the day I didn't make the thread and I was bored when I came across it.

As for Kouta therotically he will never be named on the bench but I'm sure he will start some games on the bench just because all of sudden we have quite a few youngsters that can play on the ball and he can only realistically play around 60-80 minutes a game and frankly I would rather the majority of time be in the second half.
