Round 1 2009

There was an article in the Herald Sun today and it mentioned that we we will playing St. Kilda at the Telstra Dome in Round 1.

Still... at least its a chance to start the season with a win, and isn't against the Dogs, Hawks, Cats, Crows or Pies.

if the afl continues to schedule swans v st. kilda in the first round.... this will be the beginning of the demise of the AFL

the first round should be exciting.... this game however will be as lucklustre as chess against a computer (best analogy i can come up with)

first game of the season should be a reflection of the entirety of the season.... with that game, i surmise 2009 will suck

Last years came out around late-November if I'm remembering correctly... Maybe a little later.

The 2nd game between these sides in 2008 was pretty good, but that was in Sydney.

Eep it could be a very ugly start to the year, again. On the plus side, we might be the first side to play against Cousins MKII

On my laptop desktop I've still got the 2008 draw in the Excel spreadsheet that u download from the AFL.

According to properties, it was created on Friday 26/10/07. I'm pretty sure I downloaded it the day it came out, so Bedford would be correct if this season follows the same path.

Im sorry but i lost all my spirit against Collingwood this year. Watching 6 humiliating losses in a row is incredibly frustrating, especially when i see Carlton consistently beating Collingwood.
