Docherty VC is going to be popular. He dropped 128 and 144 against the Tigers last season.

I reckon Dunkley could go huge against Port and be a decent VC option, despite his recent scoring history against them being poor (78, 66, 90 in his last 3 vs Port).

Oliver, Trac, Bont and Macrae all play in the same game on Saturday night and could all be safe VC or C options, you'd think at least one of them goes 150+.

No big scoring history against the Giants for Laird (116, 75, 122 in his last 3 vs GWS), but at that starting price, he's gotta be a C option. Plays on Sunday morning, so he should be a "safe" C pick.

Who are you liking?

Any left-field options?

I gotta back the expensive blokes I'm paying for. I do like Docherty though, so it'll probably be a last second decision on Thursday night.

VC Oliver
C Laird

or

VC Doch
C Oliver/Laird

Pointless thread. Anyone not starting with 30 and therefore having a way to use a VC is behind the pack to begin with.
Not many to choose from as R3 anyway

You don't need 30 green dots round 1 especially when generally 2 or 3 of the rookies named get dropped within a week or two and we never see them again.

Isn't that more of a reason to start with 30 green dots?

To be clear - if you end up starting a guy BECAUSE he is a green dot, that guy is a huge chance to be a red dot the next week.

He may as well have been a 102k red dot in the first place.

I'm rolling with a floating donut that gives me some loopability and also increases the quality of my starting 22 by $21,500.

I might even run two.

They don't have to still exist when the first ball is bounced Round 3.

We'll have a LOT more information by then

So we should start week 1 with 30 red dots then? I'd hate to think that Bont and Ollie pig might get dropped after 1 week. Reckon they might at least get a second chance.

Yeah nah 30 Reltons and Bedendos is definitely the way to go

This will be my Perma C/VC for the first 9 rounds just swapped around depending on who plays first.
Neither of them have clash games until Round 10
