am i crazy for not wanting to get in staker? i've had cash free all season, playing with league focus so my team is really starting to bloom now, and it's not really the best time for me to downgrade to a guy who i will only put on the park once in round 13. will there be so few downgrade options later that i'll regret not cashing in a cow now? is it crazy to consider just getting him in round 12 if he busts out a 70+ in his 3rd game, after his bye?

I've got Terlich (maybe out) and Leuenberger (out), with minimal coverage. Thurlow covered Birchall today and he only managed 29.

Will probably go Leuenberger -> Goldstein, and Terlich to Staker if Terlich is out or Wines/Evans to Hutchings if Terlich plays.

I'm definitely looking in getting Gibbs back in, esp. with the lack of consistent def premo choices. But since he's projected to drop another 20k, I might pick him up next week instead

What are people's thoughts on Duffield? Is he worth bringing in after his bye 11? Has been doing quite well in the past four weeks. I have Heppell on my radar too, but do I really want three Bombers in my backline?

Hutchings is a worry IMO.

The Eagles play on Monday so there's a good chance he'll be named on the extended bench only to be dropped or subbed. We still have Waters to come in... I reckon Hrovat has better JS.

I think there is plenty of room to go for both at some points, particularly since teams wont be stacked in either Round 11 or 12 byes.

I got Hibberd for Gibbs when Gibbs first got injured, so I don't know if that's early or not? (thank god I didn't go Harlett like most people)

hmmm maybe I'll get Gibbs next week (as he'd go dirt cheap) and pick up Heppell after the bye. It's sooo tempting to kick Birchall/Scotland out if they continue to serve this crap up!

I'm pretty happy with the Luey to Roughy trade this week.

Leuenberger has made some nice money, but wasn't really scoring well enough to be a keeper. Goldy, Cox and Nic Nat will average more... He definitely wasn't my weakest link- I have rookies to turn into keepers and upgrading Luey would have been a luxury trade later in the season.

I'm hoping Roughy can go to town against Melbourne this week, and hopefully average 90+ for the season.

I must be the only person with absolutely no ruck cover

If terlich is injured I'm thinking terlich to staker, and mayes to Steve Johnson.

Just means I'll have to play blicavs as second ruck again. I don't mind he seems to be averaging like 65-80 at the moment.

My opponent this week only has daw as a second ruck and 2 low scoring rookies. But his whole side apart from that is good like mine. So I don't mind having to play blicavs again

Assuming you have SJ? Bartel and Nic Nat share the same bye... It's a tough one. Personally, I'd go Bartel. - Proven. Nice ceiling. Consistent. Midfield role (sometimes?).

Nic Nat is just as good but he'd probably be worth more to your team if you had him in the rucks.

Naitanui ticks all the right boxes this season- underpriced, break out year, midfield role, top 8 team, etc. etc. So flip a coin if you have to.

There is no way I'm going another week without SJ in my side!! It's unbearable.

So, have gone Mayes to Staker, and Sam Jacobs to SJ (moved Cox into the ruck).

If Leuey misses this week, will just play Blicavs, he's scoring better than Jacobs!

Still over 100k in the bank, which will be 300k after downgrading Evans to Hrovat next week. Will then upgrade one of Dwyer/Jones/Terlich to a fallen premium. So happy with my rookies though, they are some of my most consistent and reliable scorers!!

lol im doing the same. If he pumps out 130+ scores in his next 2 games his price will go over 600k, so im willing to pay a premium for the best player in the comp. Now that ive jumped on him he will probably have a shocker
