Round 10 Vs Sydney

No Change.

All players stood up tremendously. If any players are slightly vulnerable, then its Pearce and Veszpremi. Despite this, I would stick with them.

Players in the mix if there is tobe a change: Cordy, Djerrkura, Grant, Addison

Go Dogs!

Yeah Skinner has potential but some of the bad things he did last night were cringeworthy. Long way to go yet for Zephi.

Out: Skinner, Pearce (did nothing wrong, just making way)
In: Cordy, Addison

Out: Skinner. Had his taste now back to the VFL to earn it.

In: Panos.

Give Pearce one more week and let Wood have a sighter in the VFL if he's back.

Vez has a hammie so ??? do you want a rethink.

Vesz (think he is injured), Gia (needs to do more at the contest and go harder at the ball)
In: Wood (if back)/Howard(if back), Moles

If it is enough to keep him out, Addison can replace him.

Prefer Wood or Howard. I suppose both will have to work their ways in through Williamstown and it doesn't play this weekend. The Match Committee could use the opportunity to blood Johannsen or give Tutt a go if he's recovered.

The results against St Kilda, Geelong and Collingwood tell us where the club is this year. We can probably beat Port Adelaide and Brisbane to add to the 4 clubs we've mastered. That tells us that we'll end up with 8 - 9 wins, which probably puts us at a 9 finish, which means picks 10 and 11. By then Cooney, Griffen, Higgins, Murphy are at other clubs. It's time to inject more youth, cop the odd win and look at trying to get 2 lower picks.

Macca obviously doesn't like to drop players after one game, hence Skinner. So I think Pearce may get another game.

IN: Panos, Addison/ Wood
OUT: Skinner, Vesz (if injured)

NFI... Why would you drop the only forward who's showed some consistency and been dangerous this year?

Didn't you know that's how it works, Gia and Higgins had direct involvement in 7 of our 11 goals but should both be dropped as we are much better off without them :o

Possibly Addison for Pearce. Don't know about the rest. Need to keep playing the same team save for injuries.

Out: Skinner, Pierce
In: Addison, Cordy

Addison's suspension was only 1 week correct?

That would be my ins as well. Now who would we sub? Panos for me is a conundrum. Looks the goods at Willi but is just to inconsistent to pick. Last week he was good and needs to put together three in a row. Hill the same for me. Macca is definitely making them earn a spot or are they our secret weapons next year.;)

Edit: I saw Ves limping off the ground so may be another change there.

That's what makes the Skinner and Pearce selections so strange. Could be that the MC sees something in them that they don't see in Panos or Hill. Or else Panos and Hill are not doing something required.

For me it's Skinner out and Cordy in. If Vez is injured then Addison in. Pearce was quiet but give him another go.

I thought Pearce has be really good for a first year player. His form at Willi has been good and consistent. I was surprised he got a game though as I thought him to be a little raw to play senior footy but this is a rebuild year and happy to give guys a game. Skinner got picked in my opinion because he was from NT and got to go north. Nothing new there with our Aboriginal players usually getting a game when we go North. Macca though seems reluctant to give guys one game so kept him in. Good policy in my book but in the Skinner case was not what we needed as a team. Skinner has now shown he is not ready for AFL and should sit in the seconds now until he shows more than glimpses of form. Trouble with a guy like Skinner is to keep him interested as these guys tend to want to go home if the feel they are being under utilised.

I think Skinner has to go, he is just a one effort player at the moment, there is no doubt he has x factor and can do freakish things but he isn't fit enough and hasn't earned his spot, how he is in ahead of grant i have no idea at least grant chases now and puts pressure on and does the 1%ers.

Ins: Addison Cordy Grant
Outs: Vesz (inj) Skinner Pearce

line up would be
B: Addison Lake Hargrave
HB: Murphy Austin Grant
C: Cross Boyd Libatore
HF: Higgins Jones Dickson
F: Giansiracusa Cordy Roughead
FOLL: Minson Picken Griffen
INT: Wallis Cooney Dalhaus Sub: Sherman

Panos form at Williamstown not good enough, Skinner has played only 2 quarters and has not done much wrong, Pearce form at Williamstown and on Friday was good, they both deserve to stay in. Glad Iam not a selector but good position to be in, I think Cordy and Addision will both come in.

Actually I think it is the opposite as I don't think he has done much right besides kick 2goals one was a complete fluke that bounced sideways through a pack the other he fumbled 3 times but had time to recover due to the low quality of opposition, he couldn't even hit gia with an easy handball running into 50, and he has looked stuffed after playing 10 minutes of footy both weeks, very disappointing

In: Grant, Addison,
Out: Skinner, Vez (inj),

I'd be surprised if the reason to drop Grant the week before wasn't to rest him, as I think he's done little wrong all season especially with the chasing and pressuring.

I'd have Wood sit the week out, with the bye next week and get him primed and ready for a strong second half of the season.

I want Cordy in too if fit, and if he is, Pearce would be stiff, but I'd have him make way for Cordy.
