Was out the door the day he was drafted.
Which is why I flipping hate the twat.

Just say: “no. I don’t want to be drafted to Sydney. No, I will not stay around after I’m drafted” and I wouldn’t have given 2 shits about his career.

But now I just want to death ride that little shit stain until the day he hangs them up.

Could he play defender and back up ruck, say 60% back, 20% ruck. Would mean probably only room for one of Riccardi / Cadman.

If he was to play 60% in the backs, that would mean a backline of HH, Bucks and Taylor and Leeks. Too tall for all them down there at the same time. HH has played forward before but seems largely settled. Earlier poster probably more correct when he said Leek is the first tall in when one of the current three tall backs are out; with Haynes playing more on the wing.
Bedford did lot of running around last night but without the impact he had last year. If he needs to find form in the two's and Cogs is out, I presume Wehr and McMullin keeps their spots (with Ward back).

I would prefer Aleer starting and Perryman on the interchange when Buckley returns.
Different sort of players. Perryman has a very clear stopping role on the opposition’s best small/medium forward and does it well.

At this stage it’s Taylor, Buckley and Aleer fighting for two spots in the backline and Leek is slightly behind right now. That said, he looks a very special talent and performances like yesterday’s put him right in the mix.

I don’t have particular ill will for any of our ex players, except for Bruhn.

And for that massive cat to have been paid for incorrect disposal that sealed our win….hot damn, didn’t I enjoy that!!
I enjoyed that almost as much as seeing Cal Ward knock him into orbit last year.

And for all the nice moments he gave us, I also get great joy out of beating Jezza and holding him to a pretty quiet game.

I've never been totally comfortable with Perryman in the backline due to his disposal errors.

Perryman has excellent skills on both sides of his body and is a sound decision maker. With Whitfield he is the one you want with the ball exiting the backline.

A number of Whitfield's clangers on the weekend included kicking straight to Geelong players.

Perryman's disposal has also been inconsistent of late resulting in turnovers, though not as bad as Whitfield.

So as our players are running forward, all of a sudden the opposition have the ball with fewer GWS players to defend.

Yes, Perryman and Whitfield have excellent skills, but lately, neither have been setting the world on fire.

It has been noted that exiting the backline has been a major problem over the past month or so - the 'Orange Tsunami' has gone missing.

What is important is what the players ARE doing, not what they can do.

Just watched First Crack from last night.

With limited vision live, it's often hard to see the impact individual players have off the ball.

XOH's role in locking down Tom Stewart was exceptional - dare I say game changing.

He is an enigma.

He can be frustrating as all heck, but XOH's role in the team is actually vital.

Hard to argue with your points, but Leek is pretty soon going to develop into a player too dynamic for the VFL. Will create a dilemma.

Also he is the sort of player every team needs. Can’t have anyone poaching him.

Need to get games into the kid.

I think when bucks comes back maybe HH moves down the ground.

However we need someone to cover the midfield. They dropping like flies.

Could Connor play midfield?

Definitely not Conor in the midfield. Rowston has been pretty good in the vfl. He is a clearance specialist imo so would be a good fit for our midfield.

I like him in the team if nothing else than for his energy and being hard at the footy. Also knows how to kick a long-range goal. Holds his spot for mine even with Brown back in.

Bedford on the other hand... not sure what's going on but very low on output lately.
