I didn’t expect us to play injured players. However if Gunston and TB were not injured then this was a massive mistake.

Having said this though.. we looked brilliant at the back end of the second quarter. We just didn’t grind hard enough or take our chances and that ended up resulting in the close loss.

Sicily can’t be captain, gun footballer but he’s no leader. Day needs to take that role.

Other than Watson our small forwards Moore/Croc and Ginni don’t offer enough don’t do enough don’t score enough - maybe Butler for pressure maybe Hill for some energy but it’s all falling on the shoulders of the smallest guy (also when Ginni’s smarts desert him he’s as slow as treacle)

The two ruckman thing only works if they can impact the game and Meeks misses cost us the game

We clearly got ahead of ourselves at halftime and did not deal with how they ruffled our feathers. Day even just said then they had heard they were going to come out hard. Sicily was embarrassing in the 3rd. Ginnervan worst game of the year.

But also, I know rotations are a thing, but come on. When we had the momentum, Day and Watson are on the bench. F@#k me!

As for Meek, time for a spell. 3 appalling shots at goal, the last costing us the game. Reeves had a good game. Thought when we were worse off when he was out of the ruck.

Newcombe star in the first half, but boy some really lazy possessions in that 3rd.

Stop the goal kicking comps at training ya spuds, only easy goals, this team is mentally cracked, no gunston, broken forward line, so frustrating having to tolerate nonsense most weeks

Deplorable game post half time. Felt like the dogs really got into a few players heads and as the game went a number of our players seemed to invest more time pushing, shoving and shooting their mouth off than winning the football game.

Ginnivan's confidence looked shot. What the hell was he thinking in the last 15 seconds of the game sending a dinky pass to Moore +60 m out? Really summed up the second half.

This team struggles to really put the foot down on an opponent. We could have come close to ended this game in the first 5 minutes of the third term but wasted our dominance and let the dogs back in.

Had momentum at the start of the 3rd and 4th quarter with absolute **** all to show for it due to awful goal kicking. Meek needs to learn not to belt the **** out of the ball when kicking from 25 metres out.
