That same thing came up last year against Port Adelaide & Ablett smashed Kornes. The only team he continually struggles against seems to be Fremantle. I'm expecting a big game from Gazza as he rarely has 2 bad games in a row.

If your gonna do the captaincy thread, how about doing a poll with it in the future.

Ablett's 2 scores against Port last year were 120 and 160 iirc, not sure if Kornes was playing then though. With that article on his hb to kick ratio written in the hun this week i reckon he'll be kicking it a lot more. Dont underestimate the power of suggestion

Im considering Johnathon Brown this week against Melb. I dont see that they have anyone to stop him and hes coming into form. I do have Ablett, probably shouldnt stray away from him but its under consideration!

Don't have Ablett, and my record of picking someone as captain and then seeing them score under 100 is astonishing! I'm tempted to go Goodes as he usually plays well against the Crows, but Selwood had a shocker last week and he's got to be due for a 120+ score.

My stupid opponent has Ablett, but the rest of his team looks average.

Ablett every week he has played. Playing Russian roulette with your captain is a bit risky IMO.

I am mighty tempted to go with Power. He is in great form and should destroy Melbourne. But, given that we are playing at home I will likely stick with Ablett.

I was using Bartel and Judd at the start of the year. Then I was using Swan for a while. Now I have Ablett and he'll be carrying the captaincy for the remainder of the year.

Week after week I keep getting it wrong so I expect this week to be no different. Have had the following in recent times:
Judd 66
Judd 110
Selwood 106 (jumped off Judd and he scored 163)
Selwood 75

Was thinking about going ROK last week but thought he couldn't have three big scores in a row. Am thinking about ROK again this week but certain that if I do make him captain then he won't have a big one.

Also promised that next time Bartel played at Skilled I would go him. Then there's Judd ...
