Thompson this week, Cotchin this week, Boyd this week; all pretty meh, yet all apparently in the top five players on the ground. Thompson wasn't even close.

It's a shame, because the award has by far been the most credible in my eyes; seems odd that those in the running are somehow snagging votes when performances suggest otherwise.
