Toots Hibbert said:Word from a North Adelaide fan at work is that Lonie was fantastic for the Roosters on the weekend. This guy was especially impressed with his disposal. When I questioned him about hardness at the football I didn't get any sort of response. Even though I pursued this by saying we needed players who are hard at it I still got nowhere so I'm assuming Nathan didn't do anything special in that department.

The main question mark I had on him from watching some of his Hawthorn games were based on whether he was prepared to put his body on the line and do the tough stuff and butter up for second and third contests, but he did that well on Saturday when he had to.
I'd like to see Lade tried as a permanent forward with Deluca and Brogan sharing the ruck duties. Altho if Porthos is right, we won't get any more productivity out of him that way. Still I think it's a big ask for him to play the full 120 odd minutes on the ground with alternating roles as a forward pushing up and a ruckman pushing back. It's not as if he just stands in the goal square.
