OK, it's Monday. Yesterday was awful, we all know that, but let's look ahead and focus on some of the positives. Glimmers of hope, improvement from individual players, something to look forward to.

Go for it.

We will instantly get better when Wood goes to the backline and settles there.
Naughton will never learning as much during a game as he did in Round 1. Every one of his next 200+ games will be easier.
English has shown more than anyone could have expected of him.
Dunkley is back.
Jack Macrae never stops and never drops his head.

In order

No Kennedy
An underdone Nic Nat
At Etihad
No Josh Hill to kick 3 tin arse goals on us
No Mitchell or Priddis to make us look silly
A gut full of Easter eggs before the game
it is more likely than not that our % will go up even if we lose

We are going into the game against West Coast as favourites. Given West Coast has a pretty weak forward line, defence and Midfield, that isn't a bad call. I reckon we can redeem ourselves in a big way this week. Hopefully we will see Redpath and Wallis in, if not also Dickson (Libba, Crozier and English out).

Our defence will not be as exposed against the Eagles and our Midfield should be able to take control. Anyway, we live in hope.

English and Naughton will be very good players for us, Macrae and Hunter did well, Maclean didn't quite have his head ripped off and I went to sleep in the last quarter

Why would we take English out? He was the stand out positive for us round 1.

More for balance than anything else. We have historically done better when we go shorter against the Eagles. I agree though it is unlikely to happen.

It's been a bit doom and gloom around here. One week into a 22 week season.
We won't be the first or last team to get a hiding from GWS this year
I've just been listening to Pearl Jam's Let's Play Two live album from Wrigley Field during the 2016 finals run of the Red White and Blue Cubbies (Chicago1 :)) who if you hadn't heard were like us and hadn't won shit for years...longer than us even.
A song they played is linked here:
Even though its all about baseball, it still resonated with me and bought all the good vibes flowing back.

We still have time. Even the great surfers still wipe out! Lets get back on the board and ride the wave again

Have a listen and GO DOGGIES:largeredcircle::mwcirlce::largebluecircle:

English is a gun

Wallis, Redpath, Jong and Daniel could all come in and they are 'heart and soul' players.

With Crozier out Wood can settle into the backline and get some confidence back!
