Albiet Cameron wasn’t at the level he is now but Shep did really well on Cameron a few times throughout his career. Tho reckon Cameron did kick a big bag on him. Seasons done, it’s time to actually explore Ginbey/Hough playing taller. Defenders that can play on variety of forwards are worth their weight in gold.

I would like to see Archer Reid given a go but agree with post above that a debutant key forward on a day we’re likely to get belted seems likely to drain confidence. Get him in early next season. If Flynn was performing better in WAFL, I’d have him straight in for BWilliams … but he’s been disappointing.

Now who was it saying it would be better for AReid’s development to play in the WAFL rather than a belting against Geelong? At least he’d be playing alongside fully professional footballers against Geelong.

The VFL excelled themselves this year, 3 of the first 4 games away to start the season and end it playing Carlton after a trip to Tassie then down to Geelong on a 6 day break.
We were set up for another spoon.
