Nup. Wonder how accurate Dream Stats BE's are.

The big question is: Hunter or Zaha this week?

Was just coming on to ask about Zaka.

His DT to SC ratio seems good and when fit he scores really well.
At 440kodd he seems a steal.

Apart from injuries am i missing something

Just the whole 'plays for Essendon' thing and he would be first in line for this mysterious 'tag' that seems to be inevitable for him.

Rocky -> Parish and either one of Barlow or Simpkin -> Z. Merrett.

If Simpkin is named then he stays. I think he'll come good, whereas Barlow looks like he's running with lead boots and Ross doesn't quite like him.

Hopefully holding tight after that for a few weeks.

I'm assuming Danger got tagged by GWS on the weekend?

Not to my knowledge

Think gws just ran the cats off there legs

Gws should have beaten the Dees by 6 goals had they kicked straight

If they had of the result over the cats wouldn't have been a shock to anyone

Hunter has recorded 1 measly tackle over his first 2 games.

Looks like he needs to be running amok to get his marks up to score, which worries me a bit. Though first 7 games at Ethihad mitigates this fear somewhat.

Zaha has 7 tackles to his name so far.

2 weeks now, not "in doubt for Sunday" like it was yesterday

Luxury final upgrade only now (if in good form), bloke has burnt too many over the last 2 years

Yep Rocky gone, to Zaha or Hunter my only question. Finding it very hard to split them.

Not game enough for those guys yet, maybe I'll look at 1 of Hunter/Macrae down the track, Zaha has been injury prone the last couple of seasons so I doubt I'd go there.

Can't miss out on Sammy Mitchell due to what Lewis and Hodge did last year racking em up, even with age and all that, he's been pretty durable except 2014 when he had calf problems, should play 20-21 games.

16 100s last year (inc finals), only went below 80 3 times (68, 76, 77) and went 80-99 5 times, pretty consistent.

Robbie Gray is racking them up currently, he can score points, though he's averaged around 95 the last 2 years, this might be his year he finally cracks 100 avg, Ebert finally did it last year after threatening the previous 3 years.

Really want to hop on one as it will net me at least 150k from Rocky, which will be super handy in bringing in a couple super premos in a few weeks time.

We all knew Rocky was injury prone but still took the risk. Now time to capitalise on his failure.

Dream Stats have Zaha at -12 and Hunter at 11 so they are bang on there.

Which one would you trade in and why?
Not sure you should pay attention to my opinion - remember my call of Captain Viney last week? I did it in AF...didn't work out so well.

Zaka is playing more inside than Hunter, who's an outside mid. Hunter will rely on a high possession count with plenty of uncontested marks and the odd snag to score well. So Zaka's tackle numbers are higher than Hunter's.

I'm not going to recommend either. I now have both in AF (started with Hunter, bringing Zaka in this week) and I'm considering one of them in RDT.

Of course

Depends on your strategy and such

I'm confident in my rookies making good coin and playing the DT stockmarket down to a tee, so I don't need much money in reserve yet, you on the otherhand like 150k free just in case so that seems to be in your plans having the cash free to help upgrades in a few weeks.

Incumbent rookies making good coin is one thing, relying on "good" rookies coming through right when you need them and on the appropriate line for downgrade purposes is another ball game altogether.

That's why I look at making good coin with solid, rational decisions that aren't cash cow related very closely.

I prefer Hunter, just because of the way we play....Zaha has been good so far, but when Essendon get smashed by 100+ points vs good teams, he will struggle.

Who are the "good teams" in your opinion? Let's look at Bombers upcoming fixtures:

v Port - Good team? Average at best
v Geelong - Good team? Yes but just got handled by GWS
v Pies - Good team? Fringes of the 8
v Carlton - Good team? Bottom 4ish
v Sydney - Good team? Yep

Not a bad run. Showed in the first game that is capable of big scores outside of Melbourne too.

I don't necessarily see him as a whole season keeper, more of a mid priced stepping stone who should average 100 and in 5 weeks time he should be up towards the 550k mark.

Rocky & MCrouch....OUT

RGray & Zaka in

My current ballsy trades I'm planning.

It's R Gray v Parker v Sammy

Thoughts?

Sammy Mitchell? He'd be my pick. Spending extended periods on the ground because of the caps and finds the ball just about as well as anyone.

Wines is looking ominous too.

True, that's why I have 28 guys playing each week at the moment, 13 are rookies, should be able to pick who goes and who stays as the year pans out

Already got Petracca also so no need to use a trade on him when he plays later on

There should be a new wave of rookies coming through in the next 3-6 weeks, not sure on form/coaches planning, I'm guessing out of these guys, but keep an eye out on

Adelaide: Otten (not sure when but on the radar, not on Adelaides injury list)
Brisbane: Keays
Carlton: Cunningham, Galluci and Byrne
Essendon: should be a few on the horizon, wait and see
Fremantle: Tucker
Geelong: Ruggles
Gold Coast: twas a few in preseason, but Davis got the nod. MacPherson perhaps?
Hawthorn: Brand and Heatherly get talked up by their fans
Melbourne: Petracca
Richmond: Marcon?
St Kilda: Freeman if he ever gets fit
Sydney: Rose, Newman, Leonardis
Bulldogs: Collins, Dale (absolutely smashing it in the 2s, Daniel, Hunter, McLean etc keeping him out)

The other teams don't seem to have anyone relevant yet or are too expensive or won't play etc. Paul Ahern is out for the season with an ACL it looks like, Connor Blakely broke his toe recently

Stating the obvious, but once a rookie debuts it's another 2 weeks before you ideally want to make the trade which can complicate things.
