Ablett has been my captain for every round so far but am seriously considering Thompson this week, capable of massive scores and up against the weakest opponent he is likely to have ever faced in GWS, chuck in the fact that it's at Footy Park and it's very tempting.

My argument for GAJ (not that he needs one) is this:

The top scorer in the 3 games against GWS are 137 (Kennedy), 151 (Bastinac) & 145 (S. Selwood)... GAJ has had 139/143/182 individually... Pretty safe bet with GAJ considering that his average this year alone (154) is better than the average of the 3 top scores against GWS (144)...

fyi, I'm pretty sure that Thompson scored heavily against GC in round 1. Seems to rack them up even more so against the strugglers.

Thompson would have been my second choice, should tear it up against GWS. His scores against GC this year and last definitely look favourable.
