Same blokes making the same mistakes,and players who can't kick 30 metres are kidding themselves,and the less said about Maynard the better,i really thought he had turned the corner in the last couple years,but what the hell was that tonight.And to top it off Howe looks gone for the year because another player drops an easy mark which forces the contest to happen,we really know how to shoot ourselves in the foot.Hopefully we can come out next week breathing fire and give Essendon a good belting

The same shortcomings against top teams were evident again tonight. You can't win a premiership with Cox and Mihocek as the key forwards. I think the coaching panel works pretty well with what it has at its disposal, but against good teams we can't kick enough goals.
Tonight we had the opportunity to steal this game; I thought we'd run over them. Even when playing average footy we had 6 set shots in the final quarter for one goal. Some of the misses were the stuff of nightmares.
I think we'll be very competitive, but the glaring weakness is the forward line. I can't think of a way of fixing it this year......which is what I said last year. During the week I wondered about shifting Moore forward, but with Howe gone and Roughead not travelling to Perth, that isn't going to happen.

Seriously when the going gets tough for this playing group they fall to absolute sh*t.

GWS play hard and tough and we don't like it, and they know it.

There are quite a few players on this team who dont like mixing it with teams whp consistantly crack in hard especially bigger bodied sides like GWS and Norf.
