Soft. Right from the start. Short stepping, fumbles, no energy, too scripted.

I'm glad Hinkley is a good face of the Club because he sure as hell can no longer motivate a group. Too nice, too gentle with players who don't go when it's their turn. It's all about teaching and working with the group as he trusts them.

Clurey can't play. Houston is scared. Watts is scared. Rockliff is a waste of space at the moment and timid.

A forward group who look like you'll catch some horrid disease if you show any poise or actually want to take a shot from 35m out.

A backline that needs extras supporting them or they are poor. Jonas and Hartlett excluded.

Standards at this footy club under Hinkley have reached abysmal levels and guys continually get away with playing good games when things are going well. When things get tough they are not AFL standard and never will be.

At the game, I legitimately have not even noticed Rockliff is out there. Complete non-prescence. Very noticeable that we seem to be trying to limit the damage and stop Essendon from winning the ball rather than win it ourselves. Dougal, Gray, Hoff our best so far.

I don’t think we’re out of the game yet but if the players don’t come out possessed after the break, then this team is really made up of weak hearted players. We have the chance to take the 4 points and stay at the top so hopefully they realise that. But sadly, it does appear that we’re continuing where we left off against Brisbane.

Slowly worked back into the game that quarter. Shoulda, coulda but didn't, hopefully Ken gives them a bake at halftime and they come out better. Essendon are going to throw everything at us in the first 10 minutes to push the margin beyond reproach, we just have to be better.

I am so f**king sick of hearing that we're being outworked. It's a repeat issue over the last few years.

- Play a f**king ruckman, regardless of the bullshit excuses about whether you think they're ready. Tim English has looked ok for the Bulldogs, and he'd struggle to stay upright in a light breeze. At least then we can play Dixon, Hoff and Howard in their natural roles.
- Piss Rockliff off to the Sanfl until mind/body are right. Right now, Atley can do his job better.
- Do something, anything that might help Watts develop an attention span.
- Tell Robbie to take some f**king responsibility as a senior member of the team and take set shots himself.
- Remind Boak that captains should lead by example with effort and skill.
- Actually follow through on Ken's words, and make players who don't defend accountable. Same goes for players who refuse to work hard enough to get into the right positions around the ground. Our forward entries look good when our mids and forwards actually f**king move around a bit.

Sorry for the rant, but there are so many repeated issues that just don't get fixed, the main one being piss poor f**king workrate.
