Yes, they're the options and you're right, Scott had only given them each about 65% game time by early in the third quarter. I can't imagine he'd do that when they're playing away against a (supposedly) stronger team. I'm more concerned by the fact Danger only scored 119 and 121 in his two games against Port last season.

That sounds pretty bad. Certainly won't be VCing him now. On the bright side, if his Achilles is gone it makes it much easier to get Fyfe soon.

Goldy's 149 against GC last season make him the obvious VC now, with Danger's pair of 120s against Port making him the best of a bad lot of options for C ... hopefully he won't be needed.

Danger is still in the area of he could do anything. I would say he is a safe bet as back up for Goldy, could go 110, 120 or 150. He is killing it at the moment, and once he gets going, is unstoppable.

To loop, do I place the C on Davis/Gresham and the VC on Goldy? Once Goldy has played if his score isn't high enough, I switch the C onto Fyfe?

Davis won't work for you - he's "playing" at the same time as Goldy so he'll be locked out

You'll have to use Gresham

1. Put VC on Goldy, C on Fyfe. Leave Gresham on the bench as E
2. Once Goldy plays, decide if you want his score or not

If you want his score:
3. Bring Gresham on to the field for Fyfe (make sure Fyfe is E and make sure Gresh is C)
4. Gresh will get a donut and you'll get Fyfe's E score. Also since your C didn't play you'll get Goldy's VC score

If you don't want his score:
3. Leave it as is
4. Pray that Fyfe scores higher

Viney is an awful pick firstly for SC but especially as C, his ceiling is terrible. He'd be lucky to have scored over 120 more than 2-3 times in his life.

Lets face it. Nothing more rookie than blowing your own trumpet about captain choice. All experienced sc'ers nominate their captain options quietly, murmuring them gently like a lovers whisper while extorting the flaws of their options, the fact all their premos are carrying niggles, facing taggers and generally likely to totally get their spud on. At least that way when your correct you can look intelligent and leave with your dignity......
