Obviously an extremely gutsy win today and certainly the one of the best I have ever attended. What a beautiful feeling yet relief it was after the game to sing the song which such pride and emphasis.
But we can't get carried away. For once we will be backed to win but we saw what happened to Collingwood today against all odds and there is no reason why the Dees can't inflict the same thing on us.
If we play the way we did today I'm sure we will take the points but Melbourne could be a fully different side next week as we were today.

Why would you want to change the team from today? This team should be rewarded. We looked good without Houla...let him get hungry in the twos.
Russell made a couple of stuff ups but generally played pretty well.

ive got no problems with a few changes being made. Not to be a smartarse, but picking russell is like taking on an opposition with only 21 blokes....he hasnt influenced a game, quarter, or string of contests that i can remember in 4 years. I still think we need to develop a CHF, Hartlett appears to have played well in the reserves and wouldnt mind him ahead of setanta. I dont blame setanta for having a quiet one, he isnt a CHF.

russel played well dont drop him and dont bring in heartlet i rekon in houla and bentick out grigg and sententa

Fannings record is under threat from Fev this week .

I'm more confident than I was against the Kangas, but you guys will definitely beat us. Your backline (Although great today) is a weak point but our forwardline is disgusting at the moment so I'm thinking Carlton by 8 goals.

Bentick in for Russell.
Because Russell is playing in the middle?

I doubt Bentick wouldn't get a spot in our midfield now.

And he isn't suited to playing a run with role or switching the play when we bring the ball out of the backline.

Walker would be the perfect in for Russell(when fit).

I can't find room for Bentick, Russell or Blackwell when Walker returns.

Carlton by a comfortable 5 goals it looks like. As I always say prior to every game, I hope there's a good old fashioned stoush on the field, nothing Barry Hall like, but some pushes and shoves would be cool

Because we had Hadley in the guts at one stage?

Hadley can play elsewhere as he's a utility player.

Having Bentick in the middle as an extractor when Judd and Stevens are off resting isn't a bad move.

We have alot of outside onballers, bringing in an in and under ONB won't hurt.

next week wouldn't make too many changes,

IN: Houlihan
OUT: Russel

B:Grigg Jamison Thornton
HB: Bannister Waite Simpson
C: Scotland Judd Stevens
HF: Carrazo Kruezer Gibbs
F: Betts Fevola Fisher
R: Cloke Hadley Murphy
I: O'hAilpin Bower Pfieffer Houlihan

teams starting to look more structured, hope for a win next week
