Essendon need a third jumper for this matchup. Their clash jumper from 2012-15 would have made sense.

Both North and Port should be in full home kits.

Is it just me or have the Hawks changed to the dark brown used in recent years

Just saw highlights of North v Port, pretty grim but also expected. Two white number labels with black numbers isn’t great.

Brisbane introduced a clash jumper for Essendon Melbourne and Adelaide in 2005, apparently the clash doesn’t exist anymore.

Why? Royal and black don't clash mate, navy clashes far more with black. Pretty damn simple if that was the reason. In any case, home team should be in whatever they want and the away team needs to not clash with it. And iff anything, port playing in white shorts against us is far worse than playing in black.

Quiet clearly Port should have been in the dark shorts and North should have been in white, alot of games we wear white in there is no clash its just better for viewership, talk all you want about navy vs royal vs black, that call was bull yesterday.
