I was out and only tuned in with 19 to go in the 3rd. From the moment I switched on we started to get smashed and I thought we were gone. When they got to 30 in front in the last I was sure we were gone. When we were two goals behind with 2 mins to play, I thought we might have an honourable loss. When Pets kicked that point with about a minute left, I thought f*** it is another honourable loss. They had possession and only had to keep it to win. When Petrenko kicked the final goal I could not believe it. What a win. I'm stoked. I'm still stunned an hour and a half after the game.

Well done for coming here and being so gracious.:thumbsu:

Must be gutting for you right now.

Yep absolutely guttered but i know North are heading in the right direction, we are building as a team, this is a massive hurdle we need to fix, but the long run we will be a better team from this. anyway today is not about North its about Adelaide.

I have no voice left, I was shaking after the game for about 15 minutes, I pissed my neighbours off, and i managed to break a lot of shit in my house.

All worth it. Un freaking believable win. I love this club but boy they **** with my head too much!!!!!!!!

Was shattered for you guys last week when you were so close again and today... it feels like we just somehow stole the win from you guys. When you guys kicked clear in the last it felt like it would be a blow-out and you'd in by a good 8 goals +.

Cannot believe we won, absolutely amazing. Kerridge absolutely surprised me with the shit he pulled out, he's got a brilliant leg on him and just did not look like missing whenever he went for goal. Maybe he does have star potential which I didn't think he had? Who knows, he was amazing today. Pets- he was the guy I thought who actually looked 'fresh' out there. Didn't run around like a headless chook when he had the ball for a change. The goal where he faked to snap it, stopped, propped then goaled was awesome. Didn't think he had that class in him and don't think he could replicate it in another time but well done to him, should be in the team next week after his effort today especially after his winning goal.

Big props to Smack and Sando for having the balls to sub Jacobs. Sauce was....as harsh as it sounds, pathetic today. Smashed in the ruck apart from 1 good tap to Vince for a goal and was killed by Goldstein around the ground. Smack while he didn't win many taps in the centre square, at least nullified their midfielders ability to win clean ball in close. Around the ground he was pretty damn good I thought. If he could finish off some chances up forward he'll be the perfect 2nd ruck. I never got the hate for him, he is one talented mofo and his type of players don't mature until their mid-late 20's. He'll be in the team for the rest of the year barring injury and hopefully it gives him the confidence to believe in his own ability cause he has it in spades.

Danger was a beast in the final term. He was the guy who stepped up after we got smashed in the midfield for the first 3 terms. Jenkins was good, battled hard and he's turning into a very solid forward. For me Tom Lynch had the most underrated game. He's very much like what Ryan O'Keefe was a few years ago, playing that lead up role. Gives us a great outlet and his workrate is immense. Love the guy, he gives us another dimension up there apart from the tall bomb it in option. It's tragic that he didn't get a go after doing a nice job early last season- he could've made a difference up there giving us some variety. Love his work. Lastly, Richard Douglas- take a bow. Leading our BnF this year I reckon, he seems to have gained some power to his game. Is a lot stronger and it shows by him not only keeping his feet, but also breaking tackles. How good was it when he got sold into trouble in the middle of the ground and got tackled/hit by Petrie but just stood his ground and bounced off him. He also seems to have gained some kicking penetration.

All in all, what a win.

I'm finally able to post in here. Looks like our victory killed this website for some time.

When Petrenko put that goal through I went absolutely crazy. Its been such a long, long time since we had a win like this and we have dropped some winnable ones this year. Its been so many years of frustration but to get a win like this could give us great belief. Only the second 1 point win in our team's history and we have lost 4 games by 1 point, 3 to Fremantle in 98, 03 and 07 and 1 to Collingwood in 97. It was also the club's first win by 3 points or less since stealing a game against Geelong back in R17 2002 15.3.90 to 12.18.90 in a game that had no rushed behinds.

Next 2 weeks vital. Home challenges vs Freo and then one premiership favorites Sydney minus the cheater.

I'll take this win today, it was amazing to win it and surely it will give us so much more belief and hope in big games in the future.
