Im sure they've got plenty of pride, our percentage relative to those around us is alright, and we arent catching Brisbane's
Well the words of the song mention “pride” but sometimes I wonder. I just hate to see a poor last quarter when the lesser team wants the ball more than the Crows.

Is there a minimum quota of Irish players that each team has to play? Why does Boyle-Carr continue to get a game?? Keeps making errors that result in a crucial turnover. Her skillset isn’t suited for a congested game style.

Decent performance despite the completely limp effort in the last quarter.

Leuzzi with some lively efforts early on before fading out, there's something there. Tarlinton with arguably her best performance, I'd say the same for Grace Kelly as well. Newman and Charlton both quality. Marinoff good as always.

There were a few disappointing performances too. Mueller and Kustermann both continue to find it difficult to get involved, that missed goal at the end is unfortunately emblematic of Kustermann's season so far. Boyle-Carr may as well not have turned up, I literally didn't see her on the broadcast until shortly before half time. One of Boileau's weakest games of the year, that one snap on goal aside. And I am begging Prowse to put handballs onto a teammate's chest rather than to grass.

Bank the win and move on. It certainly won't be that easy next week at Arden Street...

Unfortunately, the cupboard is pretty bare. We could put SLT back in the side, I guess? Beyond that we're talking about the likes of Smith or Cronin who have offered even less than ABC, or else retrieving Ballard from wherever the hell the club have stashed her.

Also, I just have to say, the new HTB interpretations are completely ****ed. The AFL would get a better result if they just had a random number generator that paid a free kick 1% of the time any player got within 5m of the ball.

How many times did a free kick get paid because a player simply went near a ball, and suddenly an opposition player literally picked the ball up and pinned it on their chest? Prior opportunity means nothing, players genuinely attempting to get rid of the ball means nothing. And it's not like they pay it every time, just every third or fourth time, seemingly at random.

We benefitted from it massively in the first half, and then it went against us in the second. Just a complete farce.

Well, it actually is. They need this more than anything else.
There's an expectation when you get to this level that you can kick a footy at training, and they can. Even when these girls play at SANFL level they dont make many mistakes

You cant replicate AFLW game day pressure at training, the skills and composure will improve as the years go on.

I still don't think it would hurt - particularly those who haven't come through the system...
