Round 9

Just watched the round 9 game from last year as a warm up.

Probably a bit lucky to get away with that one but it showed we can win down there and some of the players who get their fair share in the forum here (Hyde, Tivendale, Meyer) all had respectable days...Richo's 1g4b and 1 on the full, was well....Richo!

KK had a good start but went missing after quarter time, he will have to wait until R18 to hopefully kick bag down there and stick it up to all down there as he is not a starter for Sun right?

Actually the week after we beat Geelong we played Freo then the Kangaroos THEN Hawthorn.

We were damn lucky to win that. Geelong lost the game, we didn't win it. They had heaps more scoring shots than us.

Coughlan was on fire (I miss him already ) and Chris Newman was superb. Hyde had a shocker !! (love watching him in full flight!)

Having Polak is going to make a large difference, Joel's going to dominate.


Ps. I can't believe Ray Hall kept Kingsley so quiet!! I'm a little worried

freo was always going to be hard and the kangas game was a certainty, you just knew we were gonna ******** it up in tassie

Thats OK PLSC...being so young it must be hard to be a Tigers supporter as you haven't experienced a Grand Final yet. It has been a very lean 27 years to say the least. The 15 or so you have seen have been very sad and I can understand your negativity. (Frawley must have been the back braker!). Even the side that had a tilt in 01 wasn't really a skilled side that looked like thay had a chance of taking out the big one IMHO.

Hang in there ...I hope one day you are able to post some positive stuff in here ..with us flogging teams with players like who are premiership material!
