Something from another thread got me thinking - what was your favourite Roy player dummy spits?

The one that got a mention was Michael Reeves in 1986 at Prinny Park versus Richmond. Another I remember was Molly doing his na-na after punching a ball into the crowd after it had gone through for a point, and getting a free kick paid against him for 'wasting time' which resulted in a goal - from memory in Adelaide?

Any other favourite dummy spits?

Trying to remember - did Sidey go off his rocker in about 83 at something?

I am prepared to stand corrected on this one but I vaugely remember Mick Conlan and Dougie Barwick both trying to mark the ball uncontested in goalsquare at Waverley, crashed into each other and instead of one of them collecting the ball and kicking a goal, they stood toe to toe arguing with each other while the ball was cleared from danger.

Keane at Waverly running into an open goal, Parko had said handball at all costs during his pre amble, so Keane handballed it through the goals..........w***er, he was pissed of with cockroach for slagging him earlier.

Parko at a function at Pete Mitchells pub Rubbity Dub at the old casino, Pete had a great photo of Fitzroy Team got Parko to autograph it so he did right across everthing in Texta pen, he was pissed off cause we lost the day b4

Molloy was stiff as a board during that game against West Coast. It was mid 1996 when we couldn't take a trick on or off the field. We were actually being competitive midway through the third quarter when the obsecure ruling whereby an individual player could not touch the ball on multiple occasions after a point had been scored come into vogue. After thinking he punched the ball through for a behind (he was rather behind the goaline when performing this) West Coast was automatically awarded a free kick when Molloy then picked up the footy to kick it back into play. He was (rightfully so) livid, mouthing off at the ump and refused to stand the mark. The Eagles gained the momentum and ran away with the contest. It was the only occasion I ever saw this ruled brought into action.

Round 1, 1993 v Carlton: I recall that after four shocking umpiring decisions in the space of thirty seconds that Roosy went off at the ump (coincidencely the same umpire who shafted us against Adelaide in 1991) after the Blues were gifted a goal. He followed the ump from the goalsquare to the centre circle mouthing off. At least this incident made our great comeback victory even more special. For quite the cool, calm and collected player, and later coach, this was one out of the bag for Roos. Am I right in saying he was reported only once in his career - conveniently for abusing an ump in the 1989 preseason match v Melbourne.

Pretty sure he gave him a mouthfull that night also.

The Molly one is absolutely my favourite too. I remember spitting the dummy as well watching it on TV at the time. I remember Molly stepping aside on the mark and gesturing to the player to kick it, whilst I was screaming "just kick it" watching at home. BASTARDS!

I also remember a pre-season semi-final against Richmond at Waverley. We were not far behind, but we were getting done like a dinner by the umps. At 3/4 time Roosy went and blasted the umps and the Fitzroy crowd roared. Unfortunately we then went on to be smashed in the 4th.
